奥锐达与Lumentum联合展示下一代LiDAR技术

9月16日,在深圳举办的2021中国光博会上,深圳奥锐达科技有限公司(下称“奥锐达”)与创新光学和光子产品的领先设计者和制造商Lumentum联合展示下一代激光雷达demo产品。

作为国内领先的激光雷达和车载3D视觉传感方案提供商,奥锐达已经推出多款激光雷达和车载ToF产品。前不久,奥锐达推出了固态激光雷达技术方案,该方案创新性地融合了SPAD阵列传感器和Lumentum的可寻址VCSEL阵列技术。
奥锐达CEO闫敏表示,“Lumentum在VCSEL阵列领域具备深厚的技术能力,奥锐达在雷达测距系统顶层架构设计、硬件、软件、算法方面均具有丰富的经验。此前双方已有较深的接触,建立了良好的合作基础。通过此次合作,我们将共同突破激光雷达核心元器件在架构、性能、参数上的关键瓶颈,推动激光雷达在移动机器人和智能驾驶等领域量产落地。”

Oradar and Lumentum Demonstrate Next-Generation LiDAR Technology
SHENZHEN, China, and SAN JOSE, Calif., September 16, 2021 - Shenzhen Oradar Technology Co., Ltd. (“Oradar”), a leading automotive 3D vision sensor provider in China, and Lumentum(NASDAQ: LITE), a market-leading designer and manufacturer of innovative optical and photonic products, today announced their live demonstration of next-generation LiDAR technology at the China International Optoelectronic Expo (CIOE) 2021 in Shenzhen, China.
As a leading LiDAR and automotive 3D vision sensor solution provider in China, Oradar has launched several LiDAR and automotive 3D time-of-flight (TOF) products. Oradar has recently demonstrated an all-solid-state LiDAR technology with no moving parts, which integrates single-photon avalanche detector (SPAD) array technology with Lumentum’s addressable multi-junction vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser (VCSEL) array technology.
“Lumentum has deep technical capabilities in the VCSEL field. Oradar has extensive experience in LiDAR system architecture design, hardware, software, and algorithms development. Prior to this, the companies have had deep contact and established a good foundation for cooperation,” said Oradar CEO, Yan Min. “Through this cooperation, we will jointly break through the key bottlenecks in the architecture design, performance, and parameters of the core components of LiDAR. We will promote LiDAR sensors into large-scale mass production in the robotics and automotive industries."
